@hhopkins77: This empty suborder was entered before I took over work on this SF. I am not sure there is any problem if it goes away (if necessary). It seems to be a place holder for anticipated taxa, which is a little odd.

Experiment 1: Do assembly of 4 infraorders as sectors instead of a single sector Grylloblattodea Handlirsch, 1906. Result: NotAssigned infraorder cannot be made as a sector. As result, all children families in NotAssigned infraorder will be missing in CoL.

image

Experiment 2: Do assembly of order Grylloblattodea Handlirsch, 1906; block suborder †Blattogryllopterida Cui, 2012 before sync.

image

Result: successful; all children included; no suborder †Blattogryllopterida

Regarding empty suborder: it may be that whatever was once assigned to this suborder has since been moved elsewhere by later nomenclatural acts. As it is a fossil taxa it may have been created to accommodate as few as a single species, and that may have since been reassigned.
