It's because there are two OTUs for Cyphoderris monstrosa monstrosa, which is likely a mistake:

gdower commented 3 years ago

We also added two other test exports:

Family Gryllotalpidae: https://data.catalogue.life/dataset/2212/classification Family Myrmecophilidae: https://data.catalogue.life/dataset/2213/classification

Family Gryllotalpidae has a lot of species that have no parentID, possibly because they are attached to 2 parent OTUs, which might be a mistake in the data or a bug with the Species Files -> TaxonWorks importer.

Example: Myrmecophilus (Myrmecophilus) acervorum (Panzer, 1799) image

Myrmecophilus (Myrmecophilus) hirticaudus Fischer von Waldheim, 1846 image

gdower commented 3 years ago

There's 2 OTUs for Bothriophylax richteri:

image

https://sandcastle.taxonworks.org/tasks/otus/browse?taxon_name_id=31175

I'm getting that pop-up by clicking on Bothriophylax richteri on the OTU tab of this page:

https://sandcastle.taxonworks.org/tasks/otus/browse?taxon_name_id=31171

image

Same exact issue with Myrmecophilus (Myrmecophilus) acervorum and Myrmecophilus (Myrmecophilus) hirticaudus except there are 3 and 6 OTUs, respectively.

Re Gryllotalpella macilenta. There are misspellings involved, does this change view?

@gdower Please skip superspecies in CoLDP export, if it may help to simplify a task.

Species and subspecies in the Tree root

The verbatim data shows there is no parentID given for those species:

File Taxon.csv, line 58
col:ID = 30943
col:nameID = 30962
gdower commented 3 years ago

Yeah, it's probably caused by 2 OTUs, as shown above. One of the OTUs doesn't have a parent because of the superspecies doesn't get exported.

mjy commented 3 years ago

@gdower Sinuijus is confirmed data error, not code, and can be ticked off this report.
