Message sent to Marek to inquire.

Nori Nishigaya, [Mar 9, 2022 at 12:39:44 PM]: HI Marek, the Catalyst Circle raised a question if they can get one of their funded proposals paid out front instead of in tranches to enable them to deploy those resources into the community sooner. Is something like that possible?

Marek Buchowiecki, [Mar 9, 2022 at 1:03:52 PM]: please send an email to catalyst@iohk.io :)

Email sent to catalyst@iohk.io as per Marek's response:

Hello!

At the last Catalyst Circle meeting, (see: https://youtu.be/eevf92uTVgI?t=4090) the representatives were discussing the funding their received in the Rapid Funding challenge in this proposal: https://cardano.ideascale.com/c/idea/384249 (Catalyst Circle Funding Mechanism).

The Circle felt that it would be more effective if they had access to the entire funds up front, instead of in tranches. Is this possible? What can we do to release those funds up front?

Thanks for your help!

It seems that the Core Catalyst Circle representatives were asking for the Fund 7 funds which was to be paid to a to a group that was also funded independently of the circle, https://cardano.ideascale.com/c/idea/398211. The video links to discussion of Rapid Funding and addressed by Funded Proposer rep and moved to the funded subcircle. Circle, Circle Admin, CCv3 intro meeting note: Note: This is not a full, decision-making Circle meeting, but simply an introductory session for the new CCv3 members; so it has not been fully transcribed. This is important to document as it is recorded that there is and will be a decision-making circle.
