The Proposer Group and the Proposal Process Lack official representation for issue solving #88

Why is solving this problem important to the mission of Project Catalyst?

Currently, the role of proposer does not have official representation. The funded proposer role does, however these are two different positions within the Catalyst ecosystem. Subsequently, the proposal process also lacks ownership and oversight of its part of the funding process. This is a gap because all other represented roles and processes are downstream of this issue. Once issues are sensed in a fund, other circle members with the community collaborate to solve the gap.

It would be helpful to resolve this by (1) considering representation for this part of the fund process or (2) creating some sense of ownership of this arena so that community members have support and a direction to resolve issues. This would strengthen the entire ecosystem and prevent larger problems in other areas.

Can you articulate the gap between the current state and the expected or envisioned state?

Currently there is no guidance or reference for ownership/representation. In an envisioned state, we would have defined a solution and implemented that criteria so that this fundamental part of the process could easily be improved.

How might the value of solving this problem be quantified and/or measured?

We could quantify this by measuring:
