Consistently getting this issue, homebrew installer has no issues installing apps/updates to the TV, have removed the working version of the app off the TV. Have tried going back in versions, reinstalling the CLI, different settings in the app to no avail. TV Information below.

Feel free to contact me for more information, not sure if I covered everything correctly. Thank you.

Hi,

Make sure homebrew is up to date. There has been plenty of updates recently on dev mode and webOS TV. As your TV is rooted, please refere to homebrew on how to carrefully update dev mode.

Sorry, I think I made a mistake in my initial post. By "homebrew installer" I meant "webOS Dev Manager" on my PC, it can install and send updates to my TV no problem. My TV is not rooted.

I've updated developer mode and the TV but the issue persists. I have tried going back to older releases of the app and I get the same error, I have updated to 1.2.4.9 and it's still the same error. I've reinstalled the CLI through the new recommended npm method, still no dice.

I'm at a loss.

There is a small chance this is an antivirus issue. Try delete MagicRemoteService. Unblock security check in the property release file before unzip it. And run again MagicRemoteService. Sans titre Give also a try with antivirus disabled.

An other possibilty is that your dev app on the TV is not up to date. In this case it should work with an older MagicRemoteService release.
