The reason why i add this small additional verification is because:
NeoGeo C files always go in pairs, as described:
C1-C2
C3-C4 (if exist on the game)
C5-C6 (if exist on the game)
C7-C8 (if exist on the game)
IMPORTANT: We won't find any NeoGeo game with an odd number of C files. (thanks Corsario).
Also, all games have at least two C files, but some games can also use four C files, six C files, and some other games can use a max of 8 C files, so i can suggest you: acan you add also these check parameters on NG VC:
if detected C3 file, check if there's a C4 file
if detected C5 file, check if there's a C6 file
if detected C7 file, check if there's a C8 file
