After some more investigation, i finally added more Sega VC bases to FriishProduce, with their respective IDs and versions.
Some info of some bases:
Sonic & Knuckles (all regions) also uses SRAM saving (like Sonic the Hedgehog 3)
Phantasy Star (JPN), Wonder Boy in Monster Land (all regions) and Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars (all regions) uses the 'FM Sound' module, which allows better audio quality. This can be enabled on the emulator menu if you press SELECT (-) when in game. The reason for add these is simple: FM Sound SMS games should only be injected on base FM Sound SMS WADs, otherwise you won't be able to use the improved sound of these games.
Columns III (all regions) is the only Sega Genesis VC game which supported more of 4 players. On the settings file, you can modify for have two multitaps connected and have 8 players, for a few Genesis games.
Also, I have noticed that the max ROM size limit of Sega VC:
Sega Master System: max size 512 kB (0,5 MB) (as far as I know)
Sega Genesis / Mega Drive: max size 5376 kB / 5505024 bytes (5,25 MB) - found that size on "Sonic & Knuckles" VC release
Also considered a request on GBAtemp, added also Pokémon Snap to N64 VC bases.
I'm not sure if this is rev2 of the VC emulator, but i checked the date releases and looks like it's rev2 :P (please correct me if i'm wrong)
Update:
Also added missing JPN bases for Ogre Battle 64 and Mario Party 2.
