This plugin do not support virtual-microphone , and may not appear in the near future because Microsoft request a paid certificate to create a virtual sound card.
Hello. I've encountered the same thing and fixed it using the following:
I use a USB sound interface with OBS to output the audio I want to the speaker output. I then connect this to the input port and then the monitor output from OBS is linked to the mic / line in input of the USB adapter.
Hangouts / WebEx then use this audio source.
It would also be possible using a virtual sound device driver
@CatxFish I know Microsoft wants a paid certificate. However, do you think you could provide this feature for Linux operating systems? Specifically, Ubuntu?
Sorry, I guess I am coming from your other project, obs-v4l2sink and am trying to figure out not only how to stream video from OBS onto a video conferencing software, but also stream audio from OBS.
@CatxFish, first of all, thanks for making this software. I used it to play computer games with distant relatives - we had so much fun.
Microsoft request a paid certificate to create a virtual sound card.
Do you know how much they're asking for? I wonder if we could fundraise enough to pay for it...
Hello,
I'm trying to output OBS on Webex (I'm trying on hangout too same issue). My video feed is from OBS however I can't have the audio from OBS. The only audio feed I get is from my PC mic. So how do I set OBS as my default mic if I can say that ?
Thanks in advance !
