One thing I used in the old version (under windows) was the ability to be editing my GCODE in an editor and as I save the file, see the simulation window in CAMotics automatically update the part. This is super helpful.
I noticed in the newer version, when I save the file this no longer happens - I have to hit the rerun simulation button.
For long simulations, I could see how some folks may not want this. Could we have a checkbox or option in somewhere that says automatically rerun simulation if any project/path files are updated?
