Before each trip we calibrate instruments, but currently there is convenient no way to store this data, and thus it is largely ignored except in the case of massive errors. It would be useful to be able to enter the instrument numbers, instrument user, calibration data, and calibration location for each trip. Once we have enough of this data associated with survey trips, we can start looking at how calibration relates to loop closures, changes in instruments over time, etc.
