Can't use rope ladder gun #35

Minecraft v1.15.2 Forge v31.2.31 Rope Bridge v1.3

The rope ladder gun will not place any rope. It gives a message saying "That block can't support a rope ladder on that side". I tried it on stone on all four sides, but it didn't shoot.
