using weights in hlme? #241

I'm trying to use hlme() with a survey dataset and would like to include the survey weights in the modeling. I'm wondering if hlme() or the lcmm package in general allows this?

Hi, we are sorry. This option is not currently included in the package as we haven't encountered this issue in our research projects so far. Cécile

Hi Cecile,

I had a similar question regarding weights as I have a dataset in which my variable was derived from different sized samples at each time point and as such is subject to greater/lesser confidence.

I have created a manually weighted variable, but need to keep to the original scale for reporting purposes.

I just wondered if you/anyone else had any ideas about how to go about adding weights to such?
