Currently processing an ore looses the 'background' material (the block type the ore is set in).
Black granite diamond crushes to [stone] gravel,
crushed ore produces 'stone' washings regardless of background block type
ect...
This expansion provides full continuity of background material.
Black granite diamond goes to 'Black Granite Gravel Diamond Ore', a unique 'Crushed Diamond Ore' item with a different stone particle texture ect...
Each non-stone ore type requires;
'Gravel [background] [name] Ore' block variant.
'Crushed [name] Ore' item variant
Potentially Botania Pure Daisy processing unless everything else works ok with two ore tags on the varient items.
By the time the standard ore processing is finished, there could easily be in excess of 100 non-stone ore blocks in use.
This is a feature I would like to have in the pack, but the amount of work/dev hours/tedium required to implement this makes it non-viable. (I'm not asking anyone to take this one on)
Some of this could become an expansion feature at some point after the pack itself is finished, stable, and released.
