Bucket fill/empty recipes (to help de-clutter JEI)
JEI- hide all filled bucket items (declutter)
Install Bottled Milk mod to cover for not being able to milk cows.
(Done) Tooltip on the Empty bucket so the player knows its disabled.
Changes to food crops.
Seeds/carrots/potatoes can only be obtained from villages.
Pumpkins/Melons can only be obtained from worldgen.
Disable mod copies of Vanilla wheat (such as barely)- unless it has some other gameplay use.
Remove carrots/potatoes/seeds from loot tables (dungeons/zombies).
Change wheat seeds to be the useful part [for food making], rename 'wheat' item to straw.

Plain/Individual food items (apples/steak/potato ect) suffer a strong diminishing return over time.
If possible split this into generic 'food groups' such as meats (+fish), veggies, fruits (such as myself), carbs ...
Loss is applied to eating from one group.
Make sure all individual foods/ingredients can be eaten
Combination foods/meals suffer a lesser (or no) diminishing return depending on the number of different ingredients.
such meals would be new items; and based off the existing pool of ingredients.
(fried egg (smelt an egg), ham and eggs, the "full monty" [large breakfast- ham, eggs, mushrooms, potato], sandwich [bread+meat/fish], roast dinner [carrot, potato, meat/fish], stew [carrot, potato, mushroom, dumpling, meat/fish]

Co-ordinates/facing direction (GPS function) no longer available. Neither is any minimap mod.
Biome/Dimension ID/name also hidden.
No light level overlays of any kind. (unless it comes entirely from a worn/held item)
-Should leave enough info for debugging.
Changes to sleeping
Cannot skip the night.
Will consider a mod to allow player death to set the time to dawn.
Beds can still set spawn.
Although I prefer the alternative where death puts you in a random place on the map. (might be a post release optional hard mode)
Torches (light sources)
Aims to make darkness/monsters more of a threat because torching large areas to safety is not as easy as it used to be.
Only made with coal, coke, or charcoal- crafts 1 torch per char/coal.
(Charcoal requires coking oven)
Lignite coal is insufficient for making torches.
-Few extra recipes unlocked with tech progression (Forestry Carpenter -> Creosote+Wool ect)
-Consider a few extra 'long burning' fuels for the Vanilla furnace to make temporary light?
Hardcore Ecology
Aggressive spread of Mycelium and Tinker's Slime
(currently a custom mod being written)

I would also knock out the hopper for good measure, but too many mods have integrated it into their systems. This would break too many things.
