CP4 plugins (GUI) #123

Hi,

I am using CellProfiler 4 (GUI) and I am interested in using the plugins as well but currently I have a problem similar to the one reported here https://forum.image.sc/t/cant-find-plugins-on-module-list/42674 . I followed the instructions bellow in order to install them, but still they are not visible in the module section of CellProfiler https://github.com/CellProfiler/CellProfiler-plugins . I also changed the CellProfiler Plugins directory to cellprofiler_plugins/CellProfiler-plugins. I tried also changing the path to cellprofiler_plugins/CellProfiler-plugins/CellProfiler4_AutoConvert since I use CP4 but still no luck. I have Python 3.9.5 installed.

Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

The plugin loader hasn't been tested in Python 3.9, so it might be worth trying 3.8. Otherwise would you be able to launch CellProfiler from the command line to see if there's an error occuring when loading?
