The res and GT input differs in the file naming convention, instead of forcing user to rename her files, introduce a switch control to choose what sort of data the plugin should look for...

essentially done in commit 43591f9c6f25cf569de5cdfe1e7fb801243ff617 however, pretty printing could distinguish as well...

the pretty printing was solved with this commit 122f599d2c0d87542974e5dcf3ebef32f3d2734a
