Specifics TBA but, it would be possible to highlight things in the output like rejected records and their reasons, maybe colorize related error reports and data. Another placeholder with no exact ideas because that's apparently my job now.

Changed the title from "colorize spreadsheets as needed" to something more general. I think color changes will likely be the largest part of making it more readable, but I want to keep open other options for improvement.

2021-11-22 discussion:

xlswriter: python package, well-documented, clunky with formatting;
- may not be able to set widths
- number of sheets/columns jam packed full of info has been reduced recently to allow user focus on most relevant parts
- may be best time now for more XL format
- @AndyElliottCRL suggests highlight/color bad records/data/numbers of bad
