  • OT citation
  • NT citation
  • Linguistic observation (e.g., any gloss that includes an observation about a term in Greek, about a Latin translation of a Greek or Hebrew term, about the origins of a name in Hebrew, etc.)
  • Explicit spiritual interpretation (spiritualiter, mistice)
  • [key terms as they arise, e.g. iustitia, lex, ius, fides, gehenna, natura, penitentia, especially if it seems that it could appear in other passages; tag term should be in Latin in the nominative case but tag applied no matter what declension the noun appears in]
  • [key names and persons of the Trinity, e.g. Moses, Abraham, David, God the Father, Holy Spirit; tag term should be in English but tag applied no matter the declension the name appears in, and a standardized reference should be applied so that “Simonus Petrus” simply gets tagged as “Peter” and Spiritus as “Holy Spirit”]

This list will probably grow as the project goes forward. It is possible enough meaning or assumed functionality for any given tag will require a breakout into its own issue.
