IIIF Manifest: “If available, provide IIIF Manifest for manuscript.”
Online Link 1: “Provide something like URL, permalink, or DOI.”
Online Link 2: “Provide something like a link to the Google Books entry or digitized manuscript catalog.”
The Witness needs to accommodate a Canonical Reference Locator like “Kuttner, Repertorium, 234” and then a full bibliographical citation or link to another online reference to that object.
Solution: Need to indicate that the short-hand reference is parallel to a manuscript shelfmark, but then there can be a “Witness Details” page where more info is given.
