Approval State changed from Approved to Pending when we updated to v1.5.2 #171

Prerequisites

Description

We are currently running Rock v10.2 in production and when we updated the Room Management plugin to v1.5.2 on June 3rd, the new job that was created with the plugin update caused the Approval State to change on over 2000 reservations. From what I can tell, they were Approved before and now the State has changed to Pending Approval. I can't be 100% sure of the prior State before it was changed so that makes it tricky. Because the State was changed, emails were sent out to all of the admin contacts of those reservations(which I understand that is now fixed in v10.3) but I now have over 2000 reservations with the wrong state ( prior to the update, nothing has been affected after that date) and that doesn't work for our reporting. I have now updated the version to v10.3 in hopes that it would change them back to the correct State, but that did not happen. I've received a quote to help me fix it with SQL but I thought I would check with you first to see if you could offer any help. We do not have anyone on staff who knows SQL well enough to do this.

Steps to Reproduce

If you would like access to our DEV site. You can see what happened there. We installed it in our DEV site first, but didn't notice those changes because our communication system is turned off in DEV and the emails didn't go out.

Expected behavior: When updated the plugin, the State of prior reservations remains the same.

Actual behavior: The state of reservations automatically changed to Pending Review (not all of them changed, so I think it was just the ones that were showing Approved, but I can't be sure)
