Pisa/IIT SoftHand x4 + CAD final version #10

Given that this is still a prototype version of the hand, and the chance for the cable to break during the tests is high, we will require four hands, two right and two left if possible.

Also, an upgrade on the thumb is available, I think we need to test it to see whether the upgrade is beneficial for the demo or not.

There is an ad-hoc solution to the thumb closure and it is cutting an elastic with a scissor. Can we avoid this? The hand must be the same for generating the Grasp DB either by acquisition or by simulation.

Once the final version of the hand is decided, I will kindly ask the designers (Catalano or QBRobotics) if it is possible to get the CAD and push it to our private repository in GrabCAD, only available for PaCMan-UNIPI members.

@MarcoGabiccini we will probably need your help on this.

There is a request for 5 hands (3 DX / 2 SX) to Manuel Catalano/qbrobotics. Those should be distributed for this demo project, glove developments, and phase-space acquisitions using the handle. See the SoftHand ROS package for how to set properly to work with USB/Handle.

We have 4 hands (2 DX / 2 SX). The CAD is the one we have in the grabCAD workbench site, only available to unipi-pacman members. Closing this issue.
