The hand is tracked directly at the palm link. One star-tracker is used that assembles to the palm side.

Following @alessandrosettimi suggestion, add a second star to the other side.

This way stars are exchangeable between right and left hand, and increase measurements for tracking.

This is a rather good idea, will it be possible to have two stars in not-too-far-in-the-future acquisitions?

On Friday, I can design the second star for the right hand and leave it for 3D print, and perhaps, @Tabjones can pick it up for testing?. Unfortunately, I can't do it before, since I need a PC with Pro/E license.
