Add x More $ to Get Free Shipping Message in Cart #24

Open juanmriosv opened 7 years ago

Melissa Lerner asked a question about being able to have a message like:

" You have $xxx amount until free shipping at $75. But they also want to see if it can not show if someone is a signed in PLCC card holder. "

Seems this question was started by Elisabeth and Andrea.

@c21hornak, Yes, it is possible

In this example, the script will fire only in "acquisition status."

Question and something to research:

º What is the amount that, most likely, will make people to go back and purchase, or will make people to think "Yea, let me spend $x and get free-shipping." º What is the potential of conversion. This could mean, how many people are currently $x amount difference from getting free shipping (at $75) (for 2016) º What are these user's profile or shopping behaviors ? (for 2016)

These questions, might give us a clue on providing them with a CTA that will take them to a curation of products that will most likely convert. Why taking them to a category? (maybe not) . Because of the opportunity of variety of products, a left nav, and ads to other "juicy categories."

@juanmriosv Elisabeth is reviewing this information, so I'm waiting for more feedback from her.

3 questions: 1) was this done in the WebLinc admin or needed JustUno? 2) when you say "the script will fire only in acquisition status." does that mean if the user is logged in and is acquisition, or only for logged out users (since the site recognizes all logged out users as acquisition)? 3) will this script fire for logged in "denied status" users?

@c21hornak Is this the same as #26 (I am sorry I got confused)

Answers:

  1. This was done in Weblinc admin (cart)

  2. The script Runs when this banners is up: screen shot 2017-03-20 at 9 21 48 am

  3. I can do that. For now, I only did for "acquisition." In order to show the quick prototype

Thanks. I think this one should be for acquisition and denied and https://github.com/Century21Stores/SPECIAL/issues/26 should be for PLCC.

Got it

Closed By accident, Re-Opened

@juanmriosv I closed #26 since Elisabeth doesn't want to do that, because it requires WebLinc work to expose data.

Next steps for this ticket: • Elisabeth is ok if you can't detect which type of PLCC card holder the guest is. Instead, change the experience based only on the PLCC segments "acquisition", "retention" and "denied". • You already have "acquisition" done. Can you make "denied" users see the same message/calculation as "acquisition" users? • For "retention" users, can you please make them see a double message/double calculation? Something like: Line 1 - "Premier Credit Card Holders: add $X.XX more to qualify for free shipping" Line 2 - "Elite Credit Card Holders: add $Y.YY more to qualify for free shipping"
