Administer Store Locations in Google My Business to Match Brickwork #67

Here is information about the Google My Business integration with Brickwork, and how syndication works from Brickwork to Google My Business. Brickwork - Google My Business-Step by Step for C21.pdf

Note: the Google Accounts seem very complex. I am starting to think we might need to re-integrate Brickwork with the same Google Account that's associated with the Google+ account (youtube@c21stores.com, I think). When I login as youtube@c21stores.com and go to manage stores, there is only 1 store there. If we go this direction, then I think we also have to get access to the mailbox for youtube@c21stores.com same as we did for socialmedia@c21stores.com.

Tasks To Do for Google My Business: 1) Gain access to mailbox for youtube@c21stores.com — DONE • added a Gmail, c21webproduction@gmail.com as the Primary Email on that Google Account

2) Log into Manage Business Account (Century 21 Department Store) at this URL https://business.google.com/manage/#/acc/110558204285334551995/list using the Google Account of c21digitalmedia@gmail.com, because they are the primary owner of that Business Account. Then go to Menu > Manage Users, and invite youtube@c21stores.com as an owner.

3) As youtube@c21stores.com, accept the invitation to manage the Business Account of Century 21 Department Store. Then make youtube@c21stores.com the primary owner. CAUTION: other steps to first verify the Business Account for youtube@c21stores.com might be necessary.

4) Check for and resolve any outstanding conflicts in Google My Business that may be preventing Brickwork from syndicating to Google My Business. Brickwork should be considered the system of record for store information and the data points covered by the integration should successfully update Google My Business due to syndication.

5) Last I checked, Google My Business considered the Downtown store to be a "duplicate". If it cannot be administered to NOT be a duplicate, please contact Google to find out what we can do to resolve it. Note: Adena spoke with Google on the phone a while back and they told her they were going to require a photo of both addresses facades and that both stores really should have different phone numbers. I'm curious to know if they tell us the same requirements again. If they do, the photos will be easy. For the different phone numbers I will have to discuss with Mark O'Connor if we can put a phone # that is different but maybe rings the same phone (hopefully there is one). Maybe 877-350-2121.

6) Cleanup any erroneous or unnecessary suggestions to change/update data.

7) Fill in any important info on Google My Business location pages that may be missing still, but which exists on Brickwork store pages, such as hours.

@juanmriosv 1 through 6 is completed on here now. Just item 7 needs to be completed now. Probably Lydia can do this but I thought you should take a look in the account first to be familiar with it.
