I've seen this happen a few times where the upload completes successfully, but the progress bar doesn't reach 100%.

I think I managed to reproduce the issue. Did the browser open nevertheless?

Yes, the browser page opens correctly. Its just a matter of the progress bar not updating when ion returns upload completion.
