I'm able to get a disproportionate amount of science (~150 in 10 days, capable of continuing this rate for years) from a single Orbiting Solar Observatory placed in an interplanetary orbit. The culprit seems to be the Interstellar Radiation Data experiment, which has yielded around 500 science in about 30 days. I would consider rebalancing it to be more in line with the other experiments at this point in the game (unlocked at Data Digitization.)
