Great post! Excel is often overlooked. Thanks for these tips. I mostly use SPSS for data management, but too often get data in Excel or CSV

Thanks @wepateii! SPSS is another tool that I would say isn't much better than Excel for data entry purposes (still prone to some of the same issues). But I think it's a fine tool for data wrangling and analysis.
