Installing McDebian while keeping LEDE on current partition #33

Hello,

Is anyone running McDebian on a Linksys WRT1900ACS with LEDE/ OpenWRT still on the partition it was already on? Since these routers have two partitions, I'm looking for a way to install McDebian on the partition I am not currently booted into. If you have McDebian on one partition and LEDE/ OpenWRT on another, did you install McDebian and then reinstall LEDE/ OpenWRT?

I have the TTL cable and have pushed packages (but never the entire OS) over the serial connection...if that can be useful for the dual booting I'm trying to achieve.

I have been thinking about how I might do this. I've gotten so accustomed to adblock/ privoxy/ SOCKS5 proxy functionality that I might run McDebian for a few hours here and there while I can cause the disruption (wife and son away) and then revert back via power-cycling three times. Assuming I could achieve the same adblock/ privoxy/ SOCKS5 proxy functionality, I might switch to McDebian.

Appreciate any feedback anyone has. Chad, I think posting here was your intention. Did I post the way you wanted me to/ in the right place?
