b. Could this amendment replace passage 1.2, instead of adding a section 1.3? In my opinion, if we are going to have a mission statement, it would be better to just have one concise sentence. I would prefer Ryan's proposed 1.3 over 1.2 and 1.3 coexisting.

c. With point b said, 1.2 and 1.3 sound really similar to me. They say very similar messages. Ryan, if you feel that 1.3 has some aspect that 1.2 doesnt have, can we hammer out some kind of hybrid of 1.3 and 1.2?
