x3d rendenring on readthedocs does not work #225

Currently x3d content is embedded as a .. raw tag. That display worked before the APE17 migration, but fails to display anything now. Not sure if it's related or if that's just a change in the template. At first glance, I don't see the js and other stuff needed to display x3d in readthedocs. Maybe they've gone missing?

An alternative way to present this might be to render the full notebooks and have the x3d inline there. There are several packages to include notebooks into sphinx now. I do not know if I can get those to run on headless rtd servers though or if we would need to continue to include the rendered content statically.

Might still be useful to render the notebooks instead, but it's good enough again for now.
