sorting MB tables by the "index" column causes issue when switching between SEDs

If the Metadata Browser is open while switching between SEDs, the table disappears if one had sorted the previous SED table by the "index" column.

To repeat the problem:

1. create two SEDs and add a segment to each (e.g., "m87")
2. on one SED, open the MB.
3. sort the Data table by index by clicking on the "index" column header once
4. with the MB still open, switch to the other SED from the Builder

This will cause the MB table to disappear.

You can restore the table by switching between the SEDs. Closing and reopening the MB does not resolve the issue; the table must be refreshed.
