As per Jamie's suggestion, it isn't obvious which points in the metadata tab are masked, as that information only shows up in the data tab. This task is to either:
a) bind the selection models between them so that masked rows show up as selected in the metadata tab (this requires completion of https://github.com/ChandraCXC/iris-dev/issues/81)
or
b) Add the masked column to the metadata tab
