Patch 3.23.1 introduced the new /reloaditemfilter command:

Added a new "/reloaditemfilter" chat command that can be used to well, reload your item filter!

Can we make use of this? Afaik EnhancePoEApp currently uses /itemfilter xxx, but a generic reload makes more sense than "switching" the filter. This may also circumvent issues with local filters that have the same name as an online filter (e.g. #579).

I will be looking at adding this in the next update.

The main issue is we'll still need to invoke an initial /itemfilter {FILTER_NAME} command as we want to switch the user over. Else there will be a lot of confusion and users are on another filter and are forced to swap to their local filter via in game settings... I'll think this through a bit more.
