@Chaoticlab I'm also facing this issue The packing list and what I received are 625U but the manual shows F625.
@ajatoledo Did you just use the 625U bearings?
@chippawah, In the Discord, I learned that @Chaoticlab swapped out the bearings to 625U but didn't update the build manual. I ended up using the 625U bearings, but there were no grub screws in the kit, so I had to source my own. Not a great experience.
Thanks for the speedy response! Though that's bummer to hear about your grub screws. Other than the mismatched bearing type I think my kit is OK. Did you run into any other gotcha's with the manual not matching the kit?
No major issues. However, I encountered challenges in attaching the feet to the frame. Outside of that, the kit build was forward enough.
Received the drives with a Siboor Voron 2.4 r2 kit on 28 Feb 2024. No holes in frames for grub screws, and like others, no grub screws. Only came with 8 F265 bearings. Were there supposed to be 12 total - 3 per shaft? Also 4 red anodize circular parts with 3 countersunk holes. Can't find any information on how to assemble. Would be nice if Chaotic Labs were a bit less chaotic and actually posted assembly manuals on their web site.
It's the same Issue with my Kit I received yesterday. I took some time but I figured it out before I found this one:
https://github.com/Chaoticlab/Voron2.4-CNC-Parts-Kit/issues/3
The there in the PDF described Build does work - they released new Versions of the part but didn't update the documentation.
Issue: Incorrect bearings provided in the kit, not matching the build directions.
Description: The drive build directions suggest using F625 Bearings, but the kit includes 625U Bearings, causing a mismatch between the provided build directions and the kit materials.
Actions: Update the assembly manual materials to match the shipping materials, including updated documentation and diagrams.
