Most of the parameters are set only once in order to take effect. Those parameters mainly do not have to be built every time, but could rather be included from the command line. Doing so would enable automation of the code via python or other scripts from outside.

This has been addressed in the most recent commit in eclipse branch and will be merged into main soon
