The domain tagging facility in Metasmoke was recently revamped so you see a description of the matching tags while you type into the "add tag" input field. This is vaguely useful, but gets in the way of adding tags -- you have to find the one you want, then separately move your hand to the mouse and click "Add". This finally breaks down completely when you try to add a new tag: I have repeatedly ended up creating a new empty tag when the "helpful" search-as-you-type decided to zap the input field just as I hit Enter.
Probably I could retrain my muscle memory to work around this, but it's rather disruptive. Could the design be reviewed for these scenarios, please?
