As a network administrator, I have the disk image and instructions to be able to install new nodes as well as update the git repository with any needed custom scripts or settings.

The router is http://soekris.com/products/eol-products/net4826.html. The product page specifies that it is based off of a 586 class processor. This means it's a x86 type processor. I'm not sure if it's 32-bit or 64-bit. If someone is going to the barn monday, can you check if what processor it is?

We might not be using openwrt https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start because it's not on the list of supported hardware.
