Suggested improvements for UI
Provide more information for what items can be picked up to differentiate that from the environment
Provide more information about specific objects - i.e when the player is near an important item have text that specifies it can be picked up and what it is
Possible Implementations
Introduce some kind of narrative or goal so the player has some insight on what to do. To maintain the puzzle and exploration aspect of the game this could be a brief sentence on where to begin.
