I am using Conversations.im and the recipient is using ChatSecure 5.0.2 on an iPhone XS running iOS 14.0.1. When I send a message while ChatSecure is closed, the recipient gets 4+ push notifications for the one message, like so.
The server we are using (jabber.de) supports XEP-0357 (per compliance checker), and they do get push notifs. They just get way too many per message.
I personally do not own an iPhone, so I am not sure what debugging information would be helpful (as I do not own the server and don't have access to the server logs).
