Seperate Emote Window

What should be added? Please make the Emote Window like the one in Twitch Chat or atleast give the option to remove the current Emote Window pop up feature or change its design.

Why should it be added? Everytime i click on the Emote Button , the pop up window with the emotes, appears on the wrong screen and/or wrong position. plus having always to click the X to close it, is annoying, if you are used to the original twitch chat function , which is just one click in chat and the emote window disappears and it always opens where the chat window is. would be awesome to have it both ways :) keep up the great work

nah ^^ at the moment the emote window and the chat window are seperate, i like to have it like in the screenshot. you can see that no matter if i click twichs emote button or bttv's, it always seem to be a feature of the chat and not a seperate window. i personally like it better as shown on the screenshots, since it lets me simple click in the anywhere in chat to cancel the emote window, iirc to cancel twitch's emote window by clicking anywhere in chat (where it displays everybodys messages), and for bttv you can just click anywhere in the window where you have to type messages to chat. i personally prefer bttv's settings since its easier to cancel. hope that makes more sense 😄 sorry for my bad english thou and thanks again for the work you guys put into it

Am I missing something or did you mean to attach some screenshots, but you forgot in to include them? I am a little confused with your request since I never used the web extensions for chat, but maybe someone else will get it. Though, I think what you want is the option to make current Emote Window close on focus loss (or when you click main window with the chat), am I right?

sorry for the late reply, all i want is that its one window. no need to have two seperate windows imo, like i said, if you go to e.g. twitch and use the bttv extension and click on the lil smiley next to the chat button you ll see what i mean. so the emote window is still poping up but its bound to the main chat window

i ll try to provide more informations, to stressful atm ^^

its prolly hard to see what i mean, when you never used the bettertwitchtv extension.

explained it to your friend already.
