Describe your issue

Type /clearmessages doesn't clear the chat immediately

It only clears Highlights (sub, mentions,..) on scrollbar, sometimes a few message lines only.

It will clear the whole chat later if new messages are loaded or by moving your cursor around channel split/border/name
