As a Scrutineer, I have to verify that the batteries used in the propulsion system are rechargeable, commercially produced, lead-acid batteries. I will also verify that the total battery capacity does not exceed 5 kilowatt-hours at a 20 hour discharge rate. I have no concern at all for system voltage, number of cells, or modules. I do have to verify that there are no capacitors being used to supplement the 5kwh battery capacity.
