As a Scrutineer, I have to verify that all devices used to assist the start, stop, or powering of a solar car are carried on the solar car and are a permanent part of the electrical system. I do this because, once the event has started, teams will not be allowed to plug any devices into the solar car except telemetry equipment and multimeters.
