I was wondering if the software will be updated with the newest fixes. Because I saw that the latest change had happened in 2019

Hi,

This project is based on Check Point Research efforts. It is work in progress and, usually, we are pushing updates in bulk. Therefore, you can expect updates in the future, but there are no specific commitments. By the way, we are accepting pull requests as well :)
