Per rule 1126 on "Things Mr. Welch can no longer do in an RPG", the player should not start the game on fire. Create a new sprite to be used for the very first animation frame, so that the player does not start the game on fire.
It's okay (and encouraged) for the player to be on fire for every subsequent frame, though. See #42.
