Can I send you the word file for you? email address?

Can you tell me if this content control is in a table cell, please? It is not in a table cell

MikeWilliams-UK commented 4 years ago

Please send the example file to info@chem4word.co.uk

Thanks I have received the file and will examine it and perform some tests.

I do have a theory about what might be going wrong.

After editing has taken place we remove the "old" content control and replace it with a fresh one in which we place the drawing. I think that when we do the removal word might be "unhelpfully" moving the insertion point into the equation.

Thanks for the example file it is exactly as I thought Word is moving the insertion point into the equation.

A workaround is to add a single space between the equations and chemistry zones such that the chemistry zone do not "touch" the edge of an equation

i.e. [Structure][space][Equation][space][Equation]

This issue is no longer relevant. ACME has built in chemical reaction functionality so there is no longer any need to juxtapose structures and equations.
