Atom label editor #22

A label editor which allow us to type different text instead of only able to select from the periodic table. In chemdoodle 10 image

The user manual details how to change the Atom to one of a set of pre defined Functional Groups. Does this fit your needs?

The ACS style guide stipulates that R group labels should be superscripted, not subscripted. the functional groups include these superscripted groups We'll look into providing R'.

Typing would give the flexibility, like it sometime is denoting how many R group(cardinal) there is instead of position (ordinal). image

Sometimes I don't want a bond between the Et and OH image

That -Et-OH looks anomalous. Did you mean C2H4OH? because if so we have a functional group for that.

At the moment ACME largely provides the functionality in ChemDoodle for Web. The latter doesn't provide custom labels.

Also , various protecting groups.

It is just a quotation mark. "and '
