fix macOS CI #77

Currently, the tests don't run on macOS CI, and the following error is raised - Intel MKL FATAL ERROR: Cannot load libmkl_intel_thread.1.dylib.

Reopening because this needs to be fixed properly, and the current 'fix' breaks ] build sometimes.
