Garbled Video & Playback Malfunction on Android Devices

I expect video playback. Instead I get garbled video with lag at certain parts. 
It manages to play on Windows Media Player, but causes the stock video player 
on Android devices to crash.

Used on:
Ice Cream Sandwich, Droid DNA (default)
Windows Media Player 10 (default)

Additional Info:
The garbled parts of the video disappear after conversion to different formats 
(e.g. MP4, AVI, etc.)
Downloaded with "Any Video Converter" from YouTube(720p & 1080p) 
The garbled parts occur at the same time regardless of re-download.
