Unable to clone with git, did you run git update-server-info on the server? #594

When I clone with git I got this error:

blackdal@debian:~/tmp$ git clone https://code.google.com/p/webm.libvpx sources
Cloning into 'sources'...
fatal: https://code.google.com/p/webm.libvpx/info/refs not found: did you run 
git update-server-info on the server?

$ git clone https://code.google.com/p/webm.libvpx

Is working currently. Note the canonical repository is:
https://git.chromium.org/webm/libvpx.git

The code.google.com is a mirror that is updated periodically.
